TotalEnergies Outlook India Summit
IIT Gandhinagar, 14 February 2026
The TotalEnergies Outlook (TEO) looks at how the world’s energy mix might change by 2050 and what that means for global temperatures. It’s based on research by TotalEnergies and outside experts, using scenarios that may or may not happen. TEO is meant to spark discussion about the energy transition, not to show the company’s official strategy, which is shared in other reports. It explores future energy paths, not intended to define company strategy.
Access to energy is essential to meet development needs Today, there are still around 4.6 billion people that lack access to a level of energy that is deemed necessary for satisfactory human development, particularly in terms of access to healthcare and education. Our collective challenge is therefore to meet this legitimate demand for energy for thepopulations of emerging countries, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. More energy, less emissions.
Thomas-Olivier LEAUTIER, Chief Economist, TotalEnergies, will lead and present the Energy Outlook and will be in conversation with a distinguished panel of industry leaders, who will share perspectives on the future of energy and opportunities. This first of its kind event outside France is an excellent opportunity to deepen our understanding of global energy trends, connect with thought leaders, and engage in meaningful dialogue about the transition to sustainable energy. We look forward to your presence and active participation in creating a dialogue to shape the energy future together.
